The Coroner’s Basic Education Course will be held Monday – Saturday, March 11th – 16th. The class will be held at the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office, 1520 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh. Tuition is $1500.00. Parking is not available at the office.
One day class attendance will be available for 8.0 hours of continuing education for $300.00 per day.
Hotel reservations can be made at the Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh Downtown, 1247 Smallman St, Pittsburgh. The special room rate of $159.00 per night has been negotiated, which includes parking and daily hot breakfast. The hotel is one block from the Medical Examiner’s Office, so you can leave your car there and walk over to the office.
