The Pennsyvania State Coroner’s Association held its annual meeting in late September.
In addition to quarterly meetings of the Executive Board, the association hosts an annual business meeting each fall.
Initially chartered in 1934, the Association has always had the goal of advancing the practice of death investigation in the state.
Each annual meeting presents continuing education opportunities for coroner and their staff; as well as opportunity for each coroner and medical examiner to discuss both the challenges before them and offer solutions to colleagues.
The annual meeting is also where elections are held for the Board’s executive leadership.
