{"id":6157,"date":"2023-11-09T08:34:18","date_gmt":"2023-11-09T13:34:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pacoroners.org\/cms\/?p=6157"},"modified":"2023-11-09T08:34:19","modified_gmt":"2023-11-09T13:34:19","slug":"wrapping-up-the-2023-annual-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pacoroners.org\/cms\/2023\/11\/09\/wrapping-up-the-2023-annual-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Wrapping Up the 2023 Annual Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Pennsyvania State Coroner&#8217;s Association held its annual meeting in late September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to quarterly meetings of the Executive Board, the association hosts an annual business meeting each fall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Initially chartered in 1934, the Association has always had the goal of advancing the practice of death investigation in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each annual meeting presents continuing education opportunities for coroner and their staff; as well as opportunity for each coroner and medical examiner to discuss both the challenges before them and offer solutions to colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The annual meeting is also where elections are held for the Board&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pacoroners.org\/cms\/members\/executive-leadership\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"304\">executive leadership<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To learn more about the history of the association, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pacoroners.org\/cms\/about-the-psca\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"30\">About The PSCA<\/a> page.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Pennsyvania State Coroner&#8217;s Association held its annual meeting in late September.
